C&F: How do you feel about birthdays?

Emily: Love them! It’s the most important thing ever to a person, obviously.

C&F: What about birthday suits? Would you rather be naked or clothed?

Emily: Depends on the situation…

C&F: Is there a certain type of clothing you associate yourself with?

Emily: Yeah, 70s, vintage, spandex. That’s that. Nice jewelry.

C&F: Do you follow trends or do you just wear whatever the fuck you want?

Emily: I wear whatever the fuck I want. I think I start trends. That is what my mom said.

C&F: Would you say that you are an artist?

Emily: Yeah. I like to create. I express myself best artistically. Getting dressed is self expression.

C&F: Are there any icons in your life?

Emily: I think Yoko Ono is really cool.

C&F: I’d say you’re a combination between Janice Joplin, Yoko Ono, and some other artist like…

Emily: I can’t think of anyone else….Lorraina Bobbitt…

C&F: Yoko Ono and Lorraina Bobbitt! How about some more about your self-expression?

Emily: Not in astrological terms?! Aries sun, Cancer moon… well self-expression for me is a need.

C&F: Has there been an evolution of Emily Jablon, different stages?

Emily: When I went to China I came back an old lady, OLD lady.

C&F: So what would be an example of this old lady’s wardrobe?

Emily: Pre-school teacher clothes. Sweaters that fit weird and funny pants, turtlenecks. Old lady shoes…

C&F: Is there anything else you want the public to know?

Emily: Astrology is bull shit! Not!
