In the December 4 “Serving You the News in Brief,” section of the Water Tower, Max Bookman incorrectly stated Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul’s position on abortion. Congressman Paul is not pro-choice. Although he labels himself as pro-life, Paul does not explicitly denounce abortion on the moral grounds that socially conservative candidates like Mike Huckabee do. True to his libertarian creds, he supports legislation that would grant individual states the sole authority to decide on abortion.We apologize for the mistake.
