Word Up

Published January 22, 2008

In this section, The Water Tower taps into the genius of UVM to make some very necessary editions to our lexicon. This week:A word that could be used to describe the act of skiing or snowboarding interchangeably

Example: “Sick, is that a Burton Custom X?”
“Yeah, man, you should drop the skis and get one.”
“No way, but we should go ____ing at Sugarbush this Friday.”

Lame: Winter mountain sporting, hitting the mountain, shredding the gnar, riding

Send suggestions to thewatertowernews@gmail.com or Contact Us and we’ll publish the best submissions next week. Word up.
