This is a call to everyone at UVM to take a couple of hours and come talk about some of the issues that we know need to be put on the table; our investments and the wages of the workers.
“I see in the near future a crisis approaching that unnerves me and causes me to tremble for the safety of my country…Corporations have been enthroned and an era of corruption in highest places will follow. And the money power of the country will endeavor to prolong its reign by working upon the prejudices of the people until all the wealth is aggregated in a few hands and the republic is destroyed.”-Abraham Lincoln, 11/21/1864
Does this apply to our University? What’s happening with our money behind the curtains? Who controls it? Come speak your mind about what you think needs to happen at UVM.
